My Take on His Isolation

Personally, I find Corvus to be the most fascinating character in the series because of how little he actually does on screen, yet how massive his presence feels. His habit of locking himself away never struck me as the behavior of a moody leader. Instead, I believe he is constantly processing an overwhelming amount of information or suppressing a power that physically drains him.
